A Floral fragrance

Inspired by Jo Malone Peony Blush Suede, the fragrance has a very light opening, very fruity-floral, all about red apple and peony. Or, maybe, the rose. Then there is a soft powdery stage, enjoyable, tender and close to skin. And then – here it goes – the dry down, with no freshness at all, somewhat bitter and sour at the same time. The peppery carnation keeps things smelling more natural, not like a sweet fruit bomb. Then the florals are joined by the suede note. At first the leather note has too much birch tar scent for me, but it softens very quickly and blends seamlessly with the florals. The dry down is really beautiful, with perfect balance between the suede note and the florals.
