Inspired by Tom Ford Oud Wood Intense, the fragrance begins with strong black leathery and dark woody notes that are very basic. Oud along with the Castoreum are the predominant notes. The juniper provides a woody and bitter taste, while the ginger gives an apricot-like tinge while the cypress is a touch fresh, green and sharp and the angelica provides more woody and fresh tones. The Oud is robust but doesn’t seem offensive or animalistic. The Castoreum however is an animalic and robust leathery note. The blend of oud and leather is a powerful combination but it’s pleasant, dry, dark and masculine. The scent feels strong, elegant, sophisticated, and dark.
