Inspired by Creed Green Irish Tweed, the fragrance is rich, fresh, sporty and unforgettable. Green Irish Tweed opens with top notes of iris and lemon verbena. The middle notes include violet leaves. The base notes are ambergris and Mysore sandalwood. The opening is just an absolutely beautiful blast of bright, clean, fresh citrus and rich green notes. Even from the first spray though, the ambergris is incredibly noticeable and brings such an incredible depth and ruggedness to it, it’s very complex, layered, and just downright amazing.
The violet leaf is very prominent to me as well, and gives a crisp, slightly bitter cleanliness about it. I think the violet leaf is a big part of what makes this feel so classy and gentlemanly, and also office friendly.
